"So what will my next appointment look like?"

You may be wondering what changes we have made in the office to keep patients and team members safe. While things may not look exactly like they did a few months ago, you will recognize the same warm and welcoming environment! We are SO excited to begin reopening the office at the end of this week. We have missed each and every one of our valued patients!

First, dentistry, in general, and our team, specifically, have always been on the forefront of health and safety measures. In addition to the stringent sterilization and safety standards set forth by OSHA and the CDC, we are also taking additional measures to keep our patients and our team members safe during this time.

When we confirm your appointment, we will ask a few screening questions related to your current health and exposure to any suspected Covid-19 patients. All employees and visitors will also be screened upon arrival to the office and everyone (including each team member) will have their temperatures taken. Anyone with a fever (a reading above 100.4) will be asked to remain out of the office for at least 14 days.

We have removed many of the chairs from the reception area as well as any hard to disinfect items (coffee station, toys, magazines) in order to maintain social distancing. We ask that you remain in your car until your appointed time and wear a face covering upon entry. If you arrive early, call the office and we will let you know if we can accommodate you early. We also ask that you do not bring anyone else with you to your appointment unless absolutely necessary (i.e. caretaker). We have installed a plexiglass barrier at the front desk and are wiping down all common touch surfaces (doorknobs, counter tops, pens, etc) constantly.

We may ask you to rinse with a special mouthwash prior to certain procedures in order to decrease any germs in your mouth. Clinical team members will be wearing enhanced PPE. Depending on the procedure being performed, this equipment may include face shields, N95 or equivalent masks, and gowns. Rest assured that our warm, smiling faces are still behind this enhanced equipment!

We appreciate the trust that you continue to place in our team. We are looking forward to seeing each and every one of you and providing you with the exceptional, compassionate care that you have come to know and expect!

Very sincerely,

Megan, Deb, and Elaine
